4 years agoThe Atlanta Braves have activated relief pitcher Chris Martin (shoulder) from the injured list. Fellow pitcher Bryse Wilson has been optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Martin had been on the injured list for about a month due to right shoulder inflammation. He figures to be one of the Braves' top setup men in front of closer Will Smith. Last year, Martin posted a 1.00 ERA and 0.61 WHIP over 18 innings of relief. He only made two appearances this year before the injury, allowing four hits and one earned run over 1.2 innings of work. During his recent rehab assignment, he pitched 2.2 innings at Triple-A and allowed three runs while striking out four.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
