According to NFL Network's James Palmer, the Chiefs and defensive tackle Chris Jones continue to work toward an extension. Interestingly enough, Palmer reported that a deal could exceed those given to Jeffery Simmons, Dexter Lawrence, and most recently, Quinnen Williams, who inked a four-year, $96 million contract with the Jets on Thursday. Of course, Jones is worth every penny, considering he has totaled 243 tackles and 65 sacks in 107 regular season games.
