Chris Ivory Lifted Into The Starting Role
6 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Chris Ivory had a big workday after fellow running back LeSean McCoy went out with a head injury on Sunday. McCoy hit his head hard after being tackled out of bounds on his second carry and couldn’t return to the game. Later Ivory would limp off the field, but come back to finish the day with 16 carries for 81 yards. He also caught the ball three times, on six targets, for 25 yards. This entire season some have been calling for Ivory to start and know he’ll get his chance. He’s definitely worth a pick up in any league especially if Shady can’t pass concussion protocol. He’ll also receive a workload boost as long as quarterback Josh Allen is sidelined. It is important not to fall in love here, as Ivory is still working behind a bad offensive line and won’t get many red zone opportunities.
