Chris Godwin Has A Decent Day
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin grabbed seven of nine targets for 91 yards in the Bucs 38-35 win over the Colts Defense on Sunday. The third-year wideout paced the team in targets after Mike Evans (hamstring) left the field early in the game. Quarterback Jameis Winston had a monster day seamlessly spreading it around to all of his pass-catchers. Evans' injury makes Godwin the true No.1 of this offense now and should translate into extra work for Breshad Perriman, newcomer Justin Watson and the tight ends. It's an early Christmas present for Godwin owners as the Bucs face the leaky Lions Defense in Week 15.
