Chris Godwin A High-End WR2 Against Carolina
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (finger) faces a Panthers Defense that's been stingy against the pass in 2020. Godwin was a full participant in practice, meaning he should be close to 100 percent when he takes the field against Carolina's 17th-ranked pass defense. The veteran wideout has averaged seven targets per game in five contests this year and has averaged 6.7 receptions and 77 receiving yards per game along with two touchdowns in three of those games with a near-neutral game-script. The matchup against the Panthers doesn't look like a blowout in either direction and with Brady set for a bounce-back performance- Godwin looks like a solid WR2.
