Chris Evans Takes Part In Practice
1 year agoCincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans (undisclosed) was able to take part in practice on Monday ahead of this Sunday's Week 1 meeting with the Cleveland Browns. Evans didn't play in the team's preseason finale as a precaution, but he should be active this weekend to kick of the 2023 regular season. The 25-year-old former sixth-rounder in 2021 will serve in a complementary role behind starter Joe Mixon to kick off the year, but he'll be battling for touches with rookie Chase Brown and Trayveon Williams. Evans has a shot to be the team's primary third-down back, which makes him worth stashing in deep PPR formats. However, we wouldn't say he'll have standalone value in those formats in Week 1 against the Browns.
