1 year agoAccording to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans might become the team's third-down option. While Joe Mixon is still atop the depth chart, Evans has shown improvement since last season, especially as a blocker and receiver. The 25-year-old, drafted in the sixth round in 2021, has played well enough during the preseason to garner attention, especially with Trayveon Williams (ankle) on the shelf.
