The 2021 sixth-round pick has impressed many during training camp, drawing attention for his improvements as a blocker. He also had seven carries for a team-high 49 rushing yards in Friday's preseason loss to the Packers. With Trayveon Williams (ankle) out, the No. 2 spot behind Joe Mixon is up for grabs. While Chase Brown is in the equation, it appears Evans may have the edge, at least at the moment.
