Chris Driedger Shuts Out Nashville On Saturday
4 years agoFlorida Panthers goalie Chris Driedger recorded his first shutout of the season on Saturday. Florida defeated the Nashville Predators 2-0 during a home game at the BB&T Center. Driedger has been splitting time with Sergei Bobrovsky and has compiled an 8-3-2 record with a 2.22 goals-against-average, and a .924 save percentage. Before Saturday's affair, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native had not played since March 7th where he allowed four goals on 26 shots to Carolina. With Saturday's shutout, Driedger handed the Panthers their 20th win of the year. Florida plays right away again on Sunday versus in-state rival Tampa Bay.
