Chris Driedger Shuts Out Blue Jackets
4 years agoFlorida Panthers goaltender Chris Driedger recorded his second shutout of the season in Sunday's 3-0 win over Columbus, making 32 stops. Both of his shutouts have come in his past five starts. Driedger improved to 11-4-2 for the season, and he owns a 2.05 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage. Driedger has been pretty much the perfect backup this season, and he's played a lot in recent times, sharing the last 10 starts equally with Sergei Bobrovsky. The duo has carried the team to a six-game winning streak.
