Chris Davis Returns To Starting Lineup
6 years agoAfter sitting out the last three games, Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis (illness) is back in the starting lineup Friday for a matchup against the Minnesota Twins. The 33-year-old entered as a pinch-hitter Thursday, recording a hit and scoring a run. Davis had been dealing with a stomach illness for the majority of the week, resulting in his absence from the lineup. He's been significantly better at the plate the last couple of games after a historic slump. Friday night he'll start at first base and bat seventh.
