Chris Daukaus (12-6) is now a light heavyweight as he made the drop from heavyweight at UFC Vegas 78 this Saturday. Daukaus enters his fight against Khalil Rountree on a three-fight losing skid after suffering three straight knockout losses to Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Curtis Blaydes, and Derrick Lewis. Before losing three fights, Daukaus won his first four UFC appearances and appeared to be the future at heavyweight. Against Rountree, Daukaus is the underdog, as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,300. In his seven UFC fights, he's averaging 69.83 fantasy points. Daukaus has never seen the scorecards in the UFC and will be fighting for his job on Saturday.

As the competition gets stiffer for Chris Daukaus, he is finding it harder and harder to earn a victory. In Saturday's main event from Columbus, Daukaus suffered a second-round knockout/TKO loss to Curtis Blaydes. In 5:17 of total action, Daukaus landed 13 significant strikes but absorbed 30. There is no doubt that Daukaus has Octagon finishing ability, but it looks like we are seeing the line in the sand where his productivity will stop. If we see him matched up with a fighter in the bottom half of the top 15, then we could see those fantasy points really rise.

Previously undefeated in the Octagon, Chris Daukaus took his first UFC loss in Saturday's main event by taking a first-round knockout loss to Derrick Lewis. Sticking and moving early in the contest, the bout was lost when Daukaus got into close-quarter exchanges with the beast that is Lewis. In 3:36 of action, Daukaus landed only 10 significant strikes while absorbing 14 from Lewis. There are plenty of big wins left for Daukaus in his career, but fighting at the top of the division will make it tough for him to earn big finishes.

Already racking up quite the list of names on his resume, Chris Daukaus (12-3) will enter the main event of Saturday's UFC card against a former title contender in Derrick Lewis. Daukaus is a perfect 4-0 since signing with the UFC, with all four of those wins coming by knockout/TKO and three of those ending in the first round. DraftKings sees the young heavyweight as the favorite on Saturday with a salary of $8,300. Throughout his UFC career, Daukaus averages 119.8 fantasy points per contest. Unfortunately, when we see two dangerous heavyweight strikers match up, the contest usually turns into a dud, which we have seen out of Lewis before.
