Chris Conley Should Have Expanded Role Against Panthers
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Chris Conley could be in line to see more work in the passing game in Week 3 against the Panthers. Conley has just three receptions in two games but was on the field for a whopping 90 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2. The 28-year-old could be the team's starting wideout opposite Brandin Cooks, with Nico Collins (shoulder) and Danny Amendola (hamstring) banged up. Conley will, unfortunately, be catching passes from rookie Davis Mills, who could have his work cut out for him against a tough Panthers defense. Conley is a cheap DFS option that could pan out if Carolina focuses its defensive attention on Brandin Cooks. He's a mighty risky play, however.
