Chris Carson, C.J. Prosise Standing Out
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise were both mentioned as standouts in organized team activities by head coach Pete Carroll. Carson had become the starter last year before an ankle injury in the fourth game knocked him out for the rest of the year. However, he's healthy now and "hasn't missed one snap of anything" this offseason. Prosise, a third-round pick two years ago, has shown promise but has also been limited to 11 of a possible 32 games due to injuries. He's been healthy this spring, though, and has really jumped out to Carroll. This might be coach speak, but it's a good sign for a Seattle running game that was atrocious the last few seasons. It doesn't help that rookie Rashaad Penny is expected to see most of the work on the early downs, though. This could be a frustrating backfield to navigate aside from Penny. Carson is probably the main handcuff for Penny owners, and Prosise could carve out some work in the passing game.
