1 year agoChris Buescher starts off the HighPoint400.com race Sunday from the 18th position. The RFK Racing driver won the pole in 2021 and began fifth last year. Overall, Buescher has never finished better than tenth aside from that win in 2016. He finished his lap 0.945 seconds behind the time of William Byron on Saturday afternoon. Buescher is 12th in the playoff standings with six races to go and 96 points clear of the bubble. However, there are chances someone lower in the standings can win and leapfrog Buescher.
