1 year agoChris Buescher has emerged as one of the most consistent road course racers in the NASCAR Cup Series, and that shouldn't change this weekend at Watkins Glen. With his 11th-place finish at Indy Road Course last weekend, Buescher has now finished 11th or better in each of the last nine races on this track type, and he will likely extend that to 10 in a row this weekend. During practice on Saturday, Buescher was 6th-fastest on the speed chart, and then he had a bit of a disappointing qualifying effort, but he still ended up 13th-fastest in that session. It's looking like the No. 17 Ford will be another strong top-10 contender in this Sunday's Go Bowling at The Glen. --Jordan McAbee
