3 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers have found their contingency plan at kicker should Chris Boswell (concussion) ultimately not be cleared in time for Monday's contest against Chicago: Josh Lambo. Lambo began the season as the primary kicker for Jacksonville, but was released after going 0-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-7 on extra points through the first three weeks. As recently as 2019, Lambo was the most accurate kicker in the league, going 33-for-34 on field goals. Boswell is currently in the league's concussion protocol, and while the Steelers are optimistic that it won't be a long-term absence, it stands to reason that he could be out Monday. Fantasy managers holding Boswell can wait, so long as they are comfortable pivoting to Lambo at the eleventh hour.--Jesse Borek
