6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer and Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton are reportedly being targeting by the Milwaukee Brewers. According to Ken Rosenthal, the Brewers — who were in on the Manny Machado sweepstakes — have turned their attention to upgrading their pitching staff. The Brewers are currently trying to keep up with the Chicago Cubs in the National League Central, and getting arms like Archer's and Britton's would certainly help. Britton would provide quality left-handed help in the bullpen, but Archer would add elite-level stuff at the top of a rotation that could use it. Both players would see their fantasy value increase exponentially with a move to the Brewers, or any other contender for that matter. Archer in particular is definitely a sell-high candidate at this point in time for fantasy players looking for depth at other positions.--Mauricio Castillo
