2 years agoThe Chiefs waived running back Derrick Gore (thumb) with an injury settlement on Thursday. The 27-year-old fractured his thumb during a preseason matchup versus Washington and was subsequently placed on the injured reserve list. Assuming he clears waivers and enters free agency, there's a chance he could rejoin the roster once healthy. Gore, who had 256 yards and two touchdowns off 51 carries (11 games) last season as a rookie, should draw interest from at least a few clubs. Yet, his fantasy appeal in any format outside of dynasty leagues is currently non-existent.
