Chiefs Sign Corey Coleman
3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs signed former New York Giants wide receiver Corey Coleman to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Coleman was a first-round pick (15th overall) by the Cleveland Browns in 2016, but he never lived up to the billing and has 61 receptions for 789 yards and five touchdowns in three NFL seasons. He hasn't played since 2018 with the New York Giants, when he caught five of eight targets for 71 yards in eight games (one start). The 27-year-old will be battling for a roster spot in training camp this summer, and he could help replace Byron Pringle as receiver depth. Demarcus Robinson could be headed elsewhere in free agency, too.
