The Kansas City Chiefs dropped back one spot via a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles at the back end of the first round and took Ohio State offensive tackle with the 32nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Simmons could end up being an excellent value pick for the Chiefs with the last pick of this year's first round. The 22-year-old offensive lineman fell to the end of the first round due to a torn patellar tendon that he suffered in the sixth game last year for the Buckeyes.
