Chiefs Bracing To Lose Mecole Hardman
2 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are bracing to lose impending free-agent wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who should have a sneaky good market this offseason despite playing in just eight games in 2022 due to injury. With Hardman likely gone, the Chiefs are expected to attempt to re-sign JuJu Smith-Schuster. Hardman had groin surgery at the end of February, but he should be ready for the start of the 2023 season, barring a setback. The 24-year-old was productive for the Chiefs in his limited action last year, catching 25 of his 34 targets for 297 yards and four touchdowns, including scores in each of his last three regular season games. Depending on where he winds up in free agency, Hardman could also be a sneaky value pick in fantasy drafts.
