Chez Reavie Looking For Second Travelers Championship Win
4 years agoChez Reavie finished T40 at the US Open last week and will look to build on that performance this week at the Travelers Championship. Reavie won this event in 2019 but has not notched any other top-10 finishes here in 10 career starts. His game has been struggling for most of this season. He will need to take advantage of solid approach shots as he ranks 26th in strokes gained approaching the green. His game has been lacking in all other aspects, so he is probably not the best DFS play this week.

Chez Reavie Tries To Start Better Than Last Season
2 years agoChez Reavie wants to get off to a better start for the 2023-24 PGA season. Last year, he missed three straight cuts and nine of his first 14 tournaments (plus one W/D). Once the Spring started, Reavie did improve but it was a rough season. On the bright side, the American golfer did finish third a few years ago in Napa. The Silverado North course is ripe for birdies but again an opening round 73 last time did Reavie no favors. Making putts early will be key for Reavie on Thursday especially.

Chez Reavie Misses Cut At 3M Open
2 years agoLast week, Chez Reavie failed to make the cut at the 3M Open, the first time in his previous eight appearances. However, he is gearing up to play at the Wyndham Championship this week, where he has a decent history. He finished T47 in 2022 during his last appearance but didn't make the cut in 2021 and 2020. Reavie is ranked 18th on tour for driving accuracy this year and has been precise with his irons. In fact, he has performed well on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway, ranking in the 59th percentile in greens in regulation and the 76th percentile in strokes gained per shot. Despite his recent missed cut, Reavie is still a viable option to consider for fantasy lineups this week.

Chez Reavie Continues To Battle With Putter
2 years agoChez Reavie came close to winning the Travelers Championship before a struggle on Sunday saw the trophy slip away from him. Reavie lost strokes with his putter during that final round and hasn't been able to find his form since. Reavie has continued to stay true to his usual statistical profile but without solid putting Reavie could continue his downward trend of finishes since he came so close to capturing another win.

Chez Reavie Attempts To Stay In FedEx Playoff Hunt
3 years agoChez Reavie had a rough Sunday last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Reavie finished with a two-over 72 which tumbled him down to a tie for 51st. So, that was a 47th. 49th, and 51st the past three weeks for the American golfer. It is that -0.37 strokes gained putting that hurts Reavie the most. Granted, his driving distance averages just 283 yards (ranks 199th) and that will not help this week in Delaware. Reavie may struggle to make much headway especially if he does not sink putts early.
