Chaz Roe Placed On IL With Shoulder Strain
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Chaz Roe (shoulder) is heading to the injured list with a shoulder strain, according to MLB.com's Adam Berry. Roe will be shut down from throwing for four to six weeks, and he could be out for as long as 12 weeks. He has been a solid, high-strikeout middle reliever for the Rays over the past few years, but he struggled this spring as he allowed four runs in 4 2/3 innings, while also striking out six in that span. Roe doesn't have any value outside of SV/HLD formats, but for managers who have him rostered you should be looking for a replacement and can drop him safely.
