1 year agoLos Angeles Angels right-hander Chase Silseth is getting the ball for Wednesday's start to face Carlos Rodon and the New York Yankees, according to Jeff Fletcher of the SoCal News Group. The 23-year-old has made nine appearances for the Major League team in 2023, posting a 5.30 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, 17.9% strikeout rate, and 15.5% walk rate. In his lone start this season, Silseth only lasted 3 1/3 innings while giving up four runs. He has some potential considering his 2.79 ERA and 26.8% strikeout rate in Triple-A this year, but fantasy managers in redraft leagues should avoid the former 11th-round draft pick.--Spencer Seguin
