Chase Silseth Likely To Enter Rotation
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels manager Phil Nevin said that right-hander Chase Silseth makes the most sense to get a start the next time the team needs six starters because he's the most stretched out and was starting games in Triple-A just a few weeks ago. It has been over a month since pitcher Tucker Davidson last made a start. Silseth has made four appearances for the Halos out of the bullpen this year, allowing six runs (three earned) on five hits while walking five and striking out five in 8 1/3 innings. In four starts at Salt Lake in the minors, he had a tidy 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, eight walks and 20 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched. The 22-year-old was worth looking at in deep holds leagues, but now he could be worth considering as a deep-league streamer in the right matchup.
