1 day agoChicago White Sox infield prospect Chase Meidroth is batting sixth and covering second base during Sunday's series finale against the Boston Red Sox. The White Sox promoted Meidroth before Friday's game. He was a key piece in the trade that sent Garrett Crochet to Boston earlier in the winter. Through his first two games of his MLB career, Meidroth has tallied at least one hit in each contest. During his first game on Friday, Meidroth reached base four times. At the start of the season, the No. 8-ranked prospect in the system posted a strong .267/.450/.600 slash line with three home runs through the first nine games of the Triple-A campaign. Fantasy managers should consider adding Meidroth in deeper formats, but should consider fading him in DFS facing Boston ace, Garrett Crochet.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
