Chase McLaughlin To Start At Kicker For Colts In Week 2
2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts have elevated kicker Chase McLaughlin to their active roster ahead of a Week 2 contest with the Jacksonville Jaguars. McLaughlin will replace Rodrigo Blankenship, who was released after missing the game-winning field goal in a Week 1 tie with the Houston Texans. Indianapolis held tryouts for the job earlier this week which seemingly turned into a two-man battle between McLaughlin and rookie Lucas Havrisik. Ultimately, the team went with the veteran who previously kicked for the Colts in 2019 and most recently for the Cleveland Browns last season. McLaughlin will not be a recommended option for fantasy this week, especially with the offense missing one of its top weapons in Michael Pittman Jr. (quad).
