1 year agoChase Hooper has his first win streak in the UFC as he scored a first-round submission win over Jordan Leavitt at UFC Vegas 82. Hooper entered the fight coming off a decision win over Nick Fiore back in May in his lightweight debut in the UFC. Right away, Hooper and Leavitt engaged in clinch work as both looked to get the fight to the ground. After Hooper stuffed a takedown, he got on top for a brief moment before Leavitt scrambled on top. However, Hooper eventually was able to scramble to Leavitt's back and sunk in a rear naked choke to get the tap. With the win, Hooper is now 5-3 in the UFC and 13-3-1 overall.--Cole Shelton
