2 years agoNASCAR's most popular driver, Chase Elliott, returned from a broken leg last weekend. Sunday will mark his second race since the injury. Elliott has performed well at Talladega over the last few years with an average finish of 15.5. He has a proven ability to run in the top 15, running there 75% of the race. Elliott won the fall race here at Talladega last year. Starting from the 29th position, there is upside for a driver that has an average finish of 13.8 over the last 16 superspeedway races.--Eric DeWilde
