Chase Elliott Manages Fifth Place Finish At Kansas On Sunday
4 years agoChase Elliott got a much-needed result at Kansas on Sunday as he rode behind three Rod's to a fifth-place finish. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver again did not lead any laps on Sunday but was close to the front all day. Elliott was sixth after Stage 1 and fifth after Stage 2. He bounced back nicely after starting the race in 17th. The No.9 secured a top-five result after passing Martin Truex Jr. on the final lap of the Buschy McBusch 400.
