Chase Edmonds Should Have A Role In Cardinals Offense
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds is the clear No. 2 behind Kenyan Drake on the offense, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury certainly won't be discluding Edmonds from the offense's plans this year. "When he had his opportunities, he shined," Kingsbury said, about the third-year running back Edmonds. Last year, Edmonds averaged 5.1 yards per carry, up from 3.5 his rookie year. He had a monstrous game in Week 7 against the Giants, rushing for 126 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. Kingsbury clearly trusts Edmonds and is likely to find ways he can make plays for the team. Drake is still in position to shine, but Edmonds might have some sneaky value in deep leagues and in PPR.
