5 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) left the game early in Week 8 against the Saints and needed assistance from the trainers to leave the field. He's questionable to return. After scoring three unexpected touchdowns in Week 7 when David Johnson (ankle, back) was active, Edmonds threw up a dud on Sunday against New Orleans, rushing the ball seven times for only eight yards before his injury. He couldn't salvage his day in the passing game either, going for only two receptions for five yards. Ouch. Johnson was inactive Sunday, so Alfred Morris and Zach Zenner are next up on the depth chart in the backfield. Neither player will be very attractive off the waiver wire, but they could both be forced into notable snaps if Edmonds and Johnson are sidelined in Week 9.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
