Chase Dollander Strikes Out Five In Triple-A Debut
22 hours agoColorado Rockies starting pitching prospect Chase Dollander tallied five strikeouts across four innings of work in his Triple-A debut. He allowed six hits, two walks, and one earned run. Dollander was competing for a spot in the starting rotation in Colorado but fell just short in the competition. However, the former ninth overall pick may not need much time in Triple-A if he continues to produce at this level. Last summer, Dollander made his professional debut and progressed quite quickly through the Colorado pipeline. He opened the season at High-A and logged 70 innings to the tune of a 2.83 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. Then at Double-A, Dollander posted a 2.25 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP across 48 innings. He is worth stashing in all standard formats as he should push for an early MLB debut this season.
