Chase Dollander Gets A Win In His Debut
4 hours agoColorado Rockies top pitching prospect Chase Dollander, ranked No. 24 in the top 100 MLB Pipeline, earned his first MLB win on Sunday against the Athletics. In five innings of work, he allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six, which was enough to earn him the win as the Rockies won the game 12-5. The long ball hurt him, as he allowed a two-run home run to Tyler Soderstrom in the first and a solo shot from Lawrence Butler in the fifth. It was a good start for the young right-hander, as the six strikeouts showed a lot of swing and miss promise. Up next for Dollander is a challenging task on the road against the Padres, but fantasy managers might want to keep an eye on him or stash him on their bench in case he lives up to the hype in 2025.
