Chase DeLauter Goes Deep On Wednesday
3 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Chase DeLauter went 1-for-4 with a long ball on Wednesday evening. This was DeLauter's first long ball since returning to Double-A Akron on July 27. The top prospect in Cleveland has been on the injured list for the majority of the summer, which has limited his playing time. Through 27 games in the minors this summer, the former first-rounder has held a disappointing .206 AVG with only three home runs. However, DeLauter posted a stellar .355/.417/.528 line with five home runs and 39 RBI last summer in the minor leagues. The number 28th-overall prospect in baseball on MLB.com should still be closely monitored in all dynasty and keeper leagues as he should spend most of next summer in the big leagues despite his rough 2024 season.
