Chase Davis Launches First High-A Home Run
3 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Chase Davis went 1-for-4 with his first High-A round-tripper on Thursday evening. Davis joined High-A Peoria on July 30 and has tallied at least one hit in every game so far with five RBI. The former first-round selection in last year's draft opened the season by getting his second look at Single-A ball and held a modest .232/.337/.401 line with eight home runs, 48 RBI, and five stolen bases. The 22-year-old is considered the sixth-best prospect in the Cardinal system on MLB.com. Dynasty managers should pay close attention to the Arizona product as he continues to progress through the lower levels of the minor leagues.
