2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool will see a favorable matchup against the Vikings in Week 18. Claypool's production has nose-dived this season and heads in the season finale with only 44 receptions for 422 yards and only one touchdown. The midseason trade by the Bears to acquire Claypool has been, to this point, a disaster marred by injury and ineffectiveness. Through six games with the Bears the talented 24-year-old has mustered only 12 receptions for 111 yards. He will face, however, a Vikings defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points to the wide receiver position. Minnesota has allowed a whopping 25 receivers this season to post more than 10-plus fantasy points against them but Claypool will have to catch passes from backup quarterback Nathan Peterman. Claypool is not fantasy viable in Week 18.--Joey C - RotoBaller
