Chase Burns Strikes Out Seven On Friday
14 seconds agoCincinnati Reds pitching prospect Chase Burns struck out seven in his latest start with High-A on Friday evening. In this outing, Burns logged three 2/3 innings of one-run ball. He allowed just two hits and two walks. This was another impressive outing for Burns as he tossed four shutout innings in his first start of the season. In that outing, Burns struck out six batters while allowing just one free pass. The Reds selected Burns with the second overall pick in last year's MLB Draft. The Wake Forest product has already begun to showcase his elite upside. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his progression as he could find himself in Double-A in the coming weeks. If the 22-year-old continues this progression, he may push for a late-season MLB debut.
