Chase Briscoe To Start Fourth On Sunday
3 years agoChase Briscoe led the way for Stewart-Haas Racing, qualifying in fourth as one of three from the team in the top 10. Briscoe put in a time of 22.658 seconds to finish just ahead of Erik Jones and Martin Truex Jr., getting him the start alongside six-time champion Kyle Busch. The betting odds aren't buying Briscoe as a legitimate contender in the four-spot, putting him at the 12th-best odds at DraftKings sportsbook at plus-1,600. In two career starts at Richmond, Briscoe hasn't managed to finish higher than 16th, but this will be his first time starting towards the front of the pack, so we will see if he can stay close to the top.
