1 year agoChase Briscoe wound up being one of the fastest Ford cars in qualifying on Saturday. He was second quickest which was good for 13th at the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. Can Briscoe turn some of that lap speed into contending on Sunday afternoon? That is a great question. The last two years saw Briscoe qualify third and second only to finish 23rd and 26th. Last year, he had to park his No. 14 car. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver needs a "Hail Mary" err win.
