Chase Briscoe Expects To Have Better Effort On Sunday
2 years agoChase Briscoe was one of those names to watch going into the 2023 season. So, naturally, he opens up 30th on Sunday from Daytona. That seems how it works sometimes. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver qualified sixth on Wednesday night, but fell back from third early in the Duel race. Briscoe and his No. 14 Ford have not fared the greatest at Daytona at times. There were those two crashes during the late-season race, but last year he ended up third for the 500 (started ninth). Briscoe expects to do some heavy lifting this time around.
