2 years agoBeing 12 points down in the standings hurt Chase Briscoe and his Ford for Sunday's race at Charlotte. He starts in 16th and will have to negotiate up to the front of the course. That will be no easy feat. Briscoe started and finished 22nd last year in his only road appearance at Charlotte at the NASCAR level. Does the Next-Gen car help him a little? No one seems to know.
