Chase Anderson To Start 2019 In Bullpen
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson will start the 2019 season in the bullpen, according to manager Craig Counsell. Counsell announced Thursday that the rotation will have Jhoulys Chacin start on opening day with Freddy Peralta, Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, and Zach Davies filling out the rest of the spots. This is bad news for Anderson as the Brewers are expecting Jimmy Nelson to return from the IL at some point soon as well. Still, if the younger pitchers don't pan out, Anderson could find himself back in the rotation, but until that happens he is not a viable fantasy option.
