Charlie Morton Sets Sights On Red Sox
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starter Charlie Morton struggled in his most recent start on Monday against the Washington Nationals, surrendering three runs on four hits in five innings of work. The right-hander only threw 57 pitches, as he is continuing to build up stamina after missing about a month with shoulder inflammation. The reeling Boston Red Sox are up next for the 36-year-old, who are sitting 17th in the Major Leagues in runs per game. Morton has had a frustrating season, but the value remains. He is a top-tier fantasy option against the Red Sox on Sunday.
