Charlie Morton Leaves Game
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starter Charlie Morton left Sunday's game after just two innings pitched. Manager Kevin Cash and the head trainer came out to check on Morton after he surrendered a leadoff walk in the top of the third inning. It wasn't a long conversation with the trainer, as nothing appeared to be wrong with the 36-year-old, though the trainer appeared to touch his back/shoulder area. Morton has struggled this year, with a 5.52 ERA in three starts coming into Sunday. Check back for further updates.
