4 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy recorded one assist in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime victory versus the Rangers, which pushed his point streak to eight games. He joins the legendary Ray Bourque as the only blueliners in the last 35 years who have managed an eight-plus game point-streak for the B's. McAvoy added four shots on Wednesday with three blocks and two hits in a team-high 25:04 of ice time. The 23-year-old has really elevated his game in 2020-21, becoming one of the league's most productive defensemen.
