11 months agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday after missing the previous four games with an upper-body injury suffered December 7. McAvoy took morning skate and head coach Jim Montgomery said he is likely in, but they are going to wait and see how he feels at game time. If he does play, McAvoy will return to a top pairing role and will see time on the B's first powerplay unit. The stud d-man has 17 points (three goals, 17 assists) in 21 games this season.
