Charlie Lindgren Placed On Injured Reserve
1 year agoWashington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren has been placed on the injured list with an upper-body injury on Thursday. The injury was sustained during Monday's morning skate and has missed both of the Capitals' games since. Lindgren has appeared in just one game so far this season, taking the loss in a 4-0 contest against the rival Pittsburgh Penguins in the team's first game of the season. The 29-year-old appeared in 31 games for the Capitals last season, working to a 3.05 goals-against average and an .899 save percentage in that time. A veteran of 61 career NHL games, Lindgren owns a 2.91 GAA and .906 Sv% with the Canadiens, Blues, and Capitals.
