Charlie Condon Believed To Have Suffered Significant Wrist Injury
40 mins agoColorado Rockies outfield prospect Charlie Condon (wrist) has reportedly suffered a "significant" wrist injury, the extent of which is unclear at this point. The injury is said to have happened while attempting to make a diving catch in the outfield in the first minor league spring game of the season. It is terrible news for the Rockies' 2024 first-round selection (No. 3 overall), who was looking to make some progress after a bumpy start to his professional career. Last year at High-A, the University of Georgia product slashed .180/.248/.270 with one home run and a 4:34 BB:K in 109 plate appearances. It wasn't likely that we'd see him in the majors in 2025, but interested dynasty managers will want to monitor for any developments regarding the exact type of injury and how long the 21-year-old is expected to be out.
